btw, lahi2x gyud ang pagbasa. sometimes, i read the cards by pattern and according to the person's 'aura' - if that's what you call it. tehehehe.

can you read the tarot upside down?..by the way how do you read the tarot?..i mean how do you analyze a card where do you begin to look sa illustration..

yup naa ani sa mango mga around 1500 to 2000 ila cards pero dili rider na card lain ang ila mga product na sa ubang tao ok hapon pero some of the dimbolism of the cards there selling are already distorted so if your a bigginers get the rider

When reading tarots, as far as i can remember me doing it, hehehe... set for example, when i get 3 minor arcanas and two majors in between, i usually, read them according to the connection of the first card to the next. sometimes, it doesn't really matter to me if i have the card upside down if the cards on the table speak for themselves.

but if i am reading the card by piece, of course, when it comes out upside down, it has a slightly different meaning but not at all 'always' opposite or negative to the meaning when card is upright. i usually start at the position of the subject [i.e. the fool] in the card and its position then the immediate surrounding. the accessories usually comes last.

The Fool's leg position [if you are referring to where he is and how he walks by how it was illustrated], portrays 'innocence'. its just like how a child walks, unaware of how things would turn out on the path he has chosen.

until now, im still trying to read the tarot cards as they are. still studying if i have the chance. note 'IF'. hehehehe...

bro, i have three types of dekcs FYI. the Carlotan Dragons, i dont know if you've seen that. I have another one from a friend who is somewhat very, i mean really good at reading them and is a moderator of this site. I have his LOTR deck. The last one, which my younger brother is now practicing to read, is the Aeclectic deck.

I have three books, one old manual from my grandfather, who happens to practice the divination of numbers and my logic.

one can always search thru the net how you read the cards, their patterns (start, circle etc) but never the exact understanding of how the cards work. there are several other istoryans, who just read this thread, who are adepts in such 'divination'. some of them, are the ones who taught me how to read them.

before i forget, i also have the 'deck of symbols', wherein you only see crude illustrations of lines and figures and has similar patterns to a tarot deck.

Learning tarot cards does it need a special training?  or any third eye?

@wilner: in learning how to read the cards, you only need the logical side of your brain to read it. only that, an 'extra' awareness should be opened. meaning, you have to be very sensitive to the person you are dealing with.
