Heres my take on this topic,

If you need the new cpu right now and WONT be upgrading for a very long time, then the Q6600 would be your best purchase, but if you can slightly wait for a little more time i would advice you either wait for the E8xxx series * dual core * ( Jan 20 ) or Q9xxx *quad core * ( anytime march )

Considering the price of a Q6600 is 12,400 and the price of a E6750 is right about 8,600 a mere 3,800 for 2 more cores. If you intend to overclock ( who doesnt anyway ? ) then running the Q6600 ( G0 stepping ) at 3.2Ghz isnt a problem with a stock cooler.

Well, i'm not really into computer much but as i've said i could however do multi task on Games+music or Browser+Office+Music. But most of all, i would like to have this NEW TECH. last as much as it can like what "ohyeah" said:

    Then like what "parts" said:

So kng ang c2q kay new tech, so new tech sad(not sure) tingali ang iyang motherboard then for now palit lng ko baratohon nga parts/specs(i don't know what you call it/can it be done) para sa MB(or something) then after maybe 6 months palit ko ug NEW TECH/upgrades sa parts/specs. sa MB then another 6 months lain na sad nga e-upgrade. As long as i won't have to purchase the whole thing for a min. of 3 years. (installment type nga pagkapalit ba) KNG pwede ba na cya
