How do u enable Cool n Quiet?

My mobo supports cnq. I have already installed the software for it. I cannot find cnq in the bios. How do u know if cnq is already working? When i open power monitor the frequency is set to 1000 Mhz when idle. But when i open properties in my computer it is not 800 Mhz. I've read that when cnq is enabled it should display 800 Mhz.

CnQ is already operating on your system if that's the case. The true speed of your Athlon 64 3000+ (socket 754) is bout 2000MHz. The fact that's its running now on 1000MHz on idle, means that CnQ is kicking in when certain speed isn't needed. Have a cool n quiet Christmas :mrgreen:
