unlikely kaayo na mahitabo ang low end mo palit ug uber PSU, coz even high end system owners dont bother to get a good PSU .Originally Posted by koto

higher wattage is always better when it comes to power supply even if the cpu is not high end or doesn't have a lot of components inside. bigger headroom so dii hago ang psu. even sa amps, dili ma hago ang unit at those times when it suddenly needs to draw more power so resulting in cleaner sound. dili pud dali no init ang amp which i think is the same as with the psu.
http://www.xbitlabs.com/articles/cpu...resler_11.html -> still higher wattage,.. but this time.. intel stood a chance in every bout.
and with presler core.. 1 +/- ghz OC with stock cooler? this reminds me of the northwood days.

Intel Bow down to your MAster AMD.
^^i guess they already did..that's when they chicken out on AMD's 64 bit duel challenge![]()
a little OT...
on the contrary...i low cheap power supply that can produce a 300W with an efficiency of 50% vs a high end 600W with an efficiency of 80% will net you cheaper electricity bill.
and yes..high end system owners do buy high end power supply(well..maybe not all but most of the people i know do)
l
if you have the money to invest for a high end proc and board.. it follows that you will protect your investment with a PSU that can adequately supply the proper power neededOriginally Posted by DD
