[color=purple] about the ID thing, that agents are still wearing their ID outside their office/building.. when it was my first time to work in a call center industry in Iloilo we were told not to take off the ID when your on the floor, well, since it was my first time, and i was once an obsessive compulsive kind of person before (as kuya jaan say) i don't want to be reminded always to wear my ID... anyway, when i was on the floor, your attention would definitely be there, and only there.. Focus is what I'm trying to say.. So by the time your break is up or your lunch, i assure you that you are gonna forget the ID that your still wearing it when your outside the building already.. working in a call center is a very easy job, its just a stressful work thats all...

they usually forget that there still wearing it.. but once they get used to it.. they would take it off...

well, about the employees with low salary, Laverne hits the point there... sometimes it depends on the company, they may have small basic salary, still the employee keeps on working on that company, its because employers gives importance to their employees, that gives them, award, benefits, and companies benefits etc.... lavernes point of view.... hehe

ID's? maybe its just a generalization i know many who do not wear their ID's outside the call centers they are working for, isa na diha ako sis and ako gf..hehehe

as to underpaid employees, daghan tinuod dili compensating nga work, pero daghan sad dili lang jud makontento no matter what, kulang siguro financial education

because they are searching for things they do not know...media is driven by corporate empires to make people feel discontented, people must go back to what is essential, to finding themselves if they were to be happy or contented. the people of Vanuatu do not have much in terms of material indulgences yet they are the world's happiest people

.. man is INSATIABLE by nature. He always wants more from everything. But thanks to this trait, man has achieved a lot. Coz being insatiable can be related to being curious. And when you're curious you tend to ask questions and find answers to your questions.

When you find your answers you strive to know more which leads back to being curious and asking questions and blah blah...

some people are not contented because they dont know how to count their blessings. they seek something way better when they don't even realize the little things going on around them that are worth something even money can't buy. this is talking bout life in general...

but of course there are aspects in our lives that we want to go further and take risks just to get there...especially talking bout career. some people feel contentment in 'trying' to achieve what they want, some people don't feel contented if they don't get what they want which push them further to their limits, some people are more contented in simply living than achieving something, some people take one step at a time and are contented whether they get what they want or not. well, different people..different interpretation.. different scenarios... different level of contentment..

hmmm... for the ID thing, i can think of a lot of reasons:

+ it looks great with their outfit
+ they want society to know that they're employed
+ "shoutout" to the world to let them know that they're earning more than most gov't employees
+ they don't want to lose their IDs... what's the best way to do that? keep it around your neck.
+ when having to go to work or go home too late at night or too early in the morning, so as not to confuse a call girl with a callgirl, or a call boy with a callboy, it's best if you've got an ID on
+ they simply forgot to take it off

... etc.

i'm a call center girl myself but i gotta say... the sling thingie irritates my neck. (brand new or not, still same thing)

try using one of those pull reels their clip ons will not irritate the neck... ive been using one but swiched to sling when the reel broke its true irritating but youll get used to it somehow...

My company advised us not to wear our IDs outside the office but when it's about to go home and you're too tired to think of anything BUT bed, you'd definitely forget about taking it off.

And saying it's just call center agents, HA, I see people working at SM wearing their IDs.

and EVerybody knows Man is insatiable.

My question now is: Why can't people in Istorya think of smarter, more interesting topics (like this one, and not just create another "Game" thread)?
