To 2nd router nako bro I thought mada pa ug heatsink and fan to iyang chip, so gi experimentuhan nako. After a while dili na ka kaconnect sa wifi ug naa nay lan nakaconnect niya.
I think you should look for an actively cooled router bro if naa bay available.
^ bro keropi,
ah i see... kani man gud router nako diri... 24/7 ni walay patay2x... the same sa fiber optics/ FiOS modem & the gigabit switch always naka "On" sila @ 24/7 & 365 days in a year. bisan pa mo uli ko's pinas, dili ni nko patyon sila... dako ang posisibility pud na likoy ning baratohon na DIR-605L tungod, init na sya...
naa ra ma'y mapalit na cooling system sa router pud... try nko pud ni if maka palit ko's sa taobao... ngita pud ko'g actively cooled router bro... kun wla ko'y makit-an, enterprise grade ra gyud ko padung ani...
himui lang nag box imo network equiptmet and i centralize imo cooling aron kaisa ra. if pwede gani, deretso nalang himo server cabinet aron mas choi sulod nmo didto imo mga server pc and centralize pud ang pag manage.. hehe.. padung commercial type naman na router na imo plano...
hehehe... nice kaayo ang suggestion nimo bro werty... kaso, gamay ra man space ning appartment nko diri man gud... but i'll check for other work around... i'll include your suggestion bro... thanks...
about sa cooling box, kita ko sauna ug acrylic router box. ang intake ug exhause fans nya aky 120 mm... nice to... pangita-on to nko balik beh... wla man gud nko gi save ang link s online store...
just an update on the Dlink DIR-605L... had tried this work around to check if the problen on dropped connection could be fixed temporarily...
the asnwer, "Yes", the problem on the dropped connection can be fixed... but as of this writing, i could not guarantee yet if the work around is stable... > 24 hrs pa man sya nag dagan after the firmware change...
The work around:
> I had down graded its firmware from ver 1.14 to ver 1.13... mine was a Revision A... so far, so good pa man sya... wla pa tagakan ug connection... kumbate pa... akoa sa ning i-monitor if dili ba mo likoy napud...
here's an update since my last post...
until today, 1x ra ko na tagan ug connection... the router is running 24/7 for 11 days... mura'g kuyawan ni sya ma ilisan ai... hehehe...
