what's happening with Vista now has happened before when Xp came out, so nothing new..

Vista just needs 6-24 months & it will take off from there with more driver & software support & of course WinVista Sp1

looking at the security on vista. they will really have a tough time...
maybe next time they will create an OS that cannot be installed without an internet connect.
and the serial will be lock to your components that when you try to change the proc or mobo, it will ask you to buy a new copy.

they're actually more lenient compared to XP. I've read that if you fail vista activation, you can still run vista but with disabled functions/features. Ang XP kay i lock-out gyud ka sa system kung dili ka ma activated.

What's nice to look in the future of Vista is the directx 10 which is mostly most of the latest games
particularly first in microsoft I guess will be using this. So this is really something new to look upon to.
Unless they're releasing a directx 10 on windows xp, but then again who knows what could happen
as there are rumors out there of some dx 10 version on winxp but instead it'll be a dx 9.0x or something.

About the article, it's more of an opinion really, just bashing around MS. It's like those fanboys in console
wars. xD I've tried Vista, and it's pretty good really but not the best so far as it still has some compatibility
issues. I'll try using it as main I guess when the Service Pack 1 (SP1) of Vista will be released. And from
there on I'll keep on watching it's development.

the only reason holding me back on using vista is that i have no reason to use it. when DX10 is released and DX10 games are available. My raptor drive is waiting for vista hehee.
