@rennyvonne, sometimes the best education can be found outside the classroom.

Not that I am saying that having a degree is not important; it's just that sometimes we need to have a change of perspective to basically know what we want or where we want to be in life.

If he wants to take a break from school and get a job first, why not? At least he would see what a career is like and maybe he'll realize how important a degree is to move ahead.

But perhaps he's one of those people who's not really about money; as you said in your post he's active in your church and keeps his bible near-by. Maybe he has aspirations to serve God and your church, is it wrong for him to pursue that line of work?

A course in nursing is indeed difficult and often enough tiring. Maybe if you could convince your friend that in pursuing that degree would be best for him in serving God by serving and reaching out to others; not only his own family but the patients he would help recuperate not only physically but also spiritually.

I sincerely wish you and your friend the best in Life and in Love

it's not that he's tired, but it's more of he's losing interest. let him realize and see how wide and great his future is once he finished school and have a degree. yet, if he won't listen, so be it. let him learn from his mistakes. experience is the best teacher

unsa diay iyang desire? desire dili mo skwela or desire nga other things iyang gusto buhaton?

if he really wants to pursue a different path, other than you expect him to be, ok ra na uy.
If dili cya ganahan. He is just being himself.
Ma hurt ra cya if you keep pushing coz dili man cya happy, esp if dili nya ma-accomplish what he loves.
Daghan namo sad face sa inyong nawong...

Naa ngali reasons ngano gusto cya ordinary?
Naa ngali cya sa phase na na-bored na cya sa iya life, OR Wala na cya kabalo unsa iyang gusto?? ?

    Matud pa sa uban quote:

@rennyvonne, sometimes the hardest part of loving someone is letting them live their lives as they want to even if it means they would live on, leaving you.

By your own words, your friend doesn't seem worried by his situation, but you are. I hope you're doing okay. You already might have had your say, and often enough that's the best anyone can do in your situation. Maybe your friend is discouraged and lost, perhaps you could pray with him-- offer your supplications together to God for guidance and wisdom.
