You could spend over Php 35,000 and you will get an 18 megapixel digital camera.
On the other hand, you can buy used film cameras for only Php 10,000 (more or less) and still get about 16 megapixels equivalent of 35mm film. Not to mention there are other film formats which allow you to get more than 800 megapixels equivalent.
Today, photography has lost its true meaning. Incessantly clicking the shutter release, deleting the unwanted photos, uploading the chosen photos and Photoshopping them isn't art. Taking time to value and compose each shot on your film, is.
So, let me ask you, brother... why use digital? It's convenient and cheap, sure I'll give you that. But do we really value each shot that we take today?
