to answer your question,

My phone came with the post paid plan that I got from
a mobile company which has a 2-yr lock in. Though I am
paying 1.7K monthly, I still have to pay a hefty cash-out
amount to get the phone ~ that's what you get when the
hype for such premium phones is still building up. The cost
is quite steep. However I didn't mind at all because I am
more satisfied with the freebies I got..

.. more free airtime for local and int'l calls, free texts to any
provider and 3G usage

As long as you're happy and satisfied with what you got, then it's certainly worth the amount you've paid for it. Good for you! And thank you for your answer.
