depende lang man gyud sa consul we got money man sad in our accounts during the interview.
Depende sa questions and sa imo answers sad, panagsa ra pangayuan documents.
In most cases kay kabaw nman cla na qualified ka or not for a tourist visa before the interview by just looking at your online application.
just based on my own experience, but then again i don't know everything.

Sir JX is right, give them the impression that you don't have plans to live permanently in the US.

It's more fun in the PH anyway...

sa inyo lang sad nang experience ngali sir,

My brother was approved for a tourist visa last 2010, i was approved last year "2011" after the 9/11 bombing like you said.
and wa nman gitan aw amo bank accounts, they never even asked for any documents.
    perhaps you misunderstood,
6 months rman jud maximum ka pede mag stay sa US if you're a tourist, the 10 yrs that im talking about is the range of time that you are allowed to go in their country without renewing your tourist visa every year, of course because they gave you 10 yrs. of multiple entry, meaning sad, anytime you want to visit the US of A within the "10 yrs" that they gave you is not a big of a problem.hehe

as i've said d jud magpareha tanan,
They're highly paid by the US Government to do their jobs, like read people's facial expression and stuff, in most cases they can really tell if you're up to something..

-but then again, i don't know everything, it's just based on my personal experience..

Good luck sa mga mo apply

passing the interview portion was pretty easy for me because it was only a renewal. I think it will be harder for first time applicants because the questions they ask these days are very stringent. But if you don't have a criminal record and come from a decent background, they will usually grant you your visa in two weeks time. Just reply as honestly as possible and make sure that the your answers match the ones you filled in on the forms

i think it's not an assurance even if you have millions in your acct., they might check on it, they might not. it really depends on how you answer their questions with confidence.
