I think the 7 billion is based sa mga recorded births. There are still many unrecorded births around the world pero I think the actual population is still within 7 billion if unrecorded births are included.

UN Population Commission head Tomas Osias was also present, as well as the six billionth baby of the world who is interestingly also Filipino.

Lorrize Mae Guevarra, 12, is now in sixth grade. She was born in 1999 and was declared the world’s six billionth baby. Guevarra said she is very happy to see Danica and she hopes that she would “grow up to become health and well loved by everyone.”
