It'd be great! For the Japanese. I'd expect Filipinos to be second rate citizens in their own country. Lets not forget that the only reason Japan is Japan today is arguably because of US help. I guess some people just are better at making the best of the situation. The Philippines didn't lose the war, Japan did ... what is the Filipino excuse?

US is not the only reason that japan is what it is now. they are really big before the ww2. remember they go to war against US and the allied countries. korea, taiwan and part of china is part of the empire. i think it's their national character, putting the country before oneself and educated masses. they make good with the aid sent by the americans.

we'll be adept in speaking nihonggo... and of course, most importantly we'll inherit their values of being well disciplined.

i would say that Filipinos would really have a hard time being under Japanese rule, as we all know we are very undisciplined... of course we could not really blame anyone for that except our 300 year rule under the Spaniards... gosh the Spanish mentality... i soo hate that.

either way... i could have wished the Philippines to be under the Japanese rule for 300 years than with the Spaniards... but still i would not like the idea of us being under their rule forever... If the Japanese would so allow to share us their kind of identity,mentality their governance, without really comprising ours...if that would be possible.... i could see that we could have been a better Philippines that what we are now.
