    Seriosly....

All you need is your camera and imagination. Whether it's a point and shoot or dSLR.

CrashBurn and Ian's posts were all in jest since you posted that money was not an issue.

i understand.. what i meant by that was the quality, brand and model not really the quantity at least not yet.

let me repherase my query.. what are the inital "must have" equipments that a beginner who wants to turn pro should have?

As for the brands, some go for Nikon, some go for Canon and some even go for Sony. It's up to you to do the research.

A good entry-level dSLR (300D, 350D or 400D for Canon), a wide lens and a decent zoom lens is all you need to get started. I also suggest getting an external flash to give you control for indoor photography (550EX, 580EX or the Sigma 550 DG Super) and a sturdy tripod. Don't forget a point and shoot for back-up.

If you're getting into using a studio, get some back drops, a good quality strobe and some light modifiers and a light meter (Sekonic).

I hope that answers your question.

well if money is not an issue... why not? (i only answered the first question )

anyway, lets go to the real world i mean... limited budget thing.. hehe.. coz we are in a real world and a lot of people in Cebu can afford what i posted above. its just too cheap for CAR hobbyists.. hahaha!

Canon EOS 350D or 400D with kit lens... or Nikon D40, D50, D70s with kit lens... get an external flash and you are ready.... amateur or pro, its up to your eyes / the love of art for you to move up... telephoto lenses, super wide, macro, fish eye... optional na, depending on your style and business (if pro).

Up to your taste my friend.....

When you feel like a CANON, go for it! or NIKON....

    Just follow your desire.
after deciding, follow the list above.
