i agree.
pirated == kinawat/tinulis == illegal.
let's be consistent and be good
there are a lot (cheap if not free) of alternative to expensive software. let's hate the monopolies but for goodness sake, let's not support crime.![]()

I love how people justify piracy. Lisud daw ang kwarta ... heres a hint ... you shouldn't have even bought a computer if you can't afford the software. Stop buying your pirated games and go get a damn job. There is also no commercial software out there that there is no suitable open source replacement.
sell all original software at affordable price. kana....mo minus ang mo palit og pirated...simple as that.
Go OPEN SOURCE if dili maka afford!
kung ang ikaw ang producer/programmer sa software, malipay ka? It took you months/years to develop unya kopyahon/pirate-ton imo software unya ang halin dili maadto nimo, malipay ka? Ganahan pa ka mo-produce or mo-program?Originally Posted by dreamboie

btaw! mao na sila dili muhunong kay daghan man gud mupalit nila... labi na dha sa colon!
mao na maninguha sad na sila ug produce kay kusog man ang demand.....
please don't support them!

.. how come the original softwares are so expensive ?? Anybody care to break down the high cost??
... i think the message of piracy is why sell it so high when they the manufacturers can sell it for a lower price.
People make the mistake of thinking that manufacturing is cheap ... therefore software must be cheap. Intellectual property is not cheap. If it was manufacturing alone, software would cost mere pennys/centavos. Business have to pay their employees ... businesses have to make money to stay in business. No one gets a free lunch, people who expect to get a free/cheap lunch don't deserve software.Originally Posted by fingolfin
When I lived in Cebu, I bought pirated software. I bought pirated games. Why? Because I was young and I didn't have the kind of money I needed. Just because I couldn't afford software ... does not make piracy right. 100% of everything I pirated for personal use ... was NOT a need. Everything that was a NEED could easily have been substituted with something free. Today, except for the many games I own, I personally own only 2 pieces of retail software ... XP Pro and Pocomail.
if you find a commercial software that is so good you can't live without it,
pay for it. it's worth it.. if not for the developers who made it,
that software wouldn't exist. it's only right to give them the credit they deserve for their effort.
if you can't afford original, look for open source or freeware.
there's plenty of them at sourceforge.
there's also portableapps.com,
you can find lots of free apps that can be run from as USB/flash disk.
