may added security features yan kung nagbabasa ka.

agree! bati ang bag-o nga philippine bills. with those wrong information printed at the back portion, and with batanes not included in the philippine map, IT SUCKS!
might as well ipareha na lang na sa dollar nga black and white ang color!![]()
Naa sad ka point pero isa sa reason sa pag himu ug new design is para madungagan ang security para lisod i counterfeit. So since mag bag o man jud ug security features, why Not change nlan sa design para naa sad bag o. The world is changing so dapat naa sad tay changes gamay.
Abi kay Pobre ang isa ka tawo, di nlan pwedi mu sul-ob ug tarung sinina?
@SioDenz
I understand pud about the need for security features but it would only fall short as a "feature"
and not actually applicable. Or could only be a very good excuse to print a whole new set of legal tenders
Wala kaayo information drive or campaign how these security features can be useful to the level where the general populace or masses can avail or make use of it.
We don't even have those genuine gadgets to detect counterfeits available as consumer goods.
Our general technology should be up current and to date pud unta to maximize the feature. otherwise
there ain't much difference sa previous peso notes compared sa karon nga bag-o in terms of security features.
but then again...its the Philippines what can I say? hahaha

noynoy aquino is planning to make a P 300 bill and he's planning to put kris aquino sa bill nga nanampiling !...
@SioDenz
pakapin....
also about that lisod e-counterfeit...I really don't think so.
This only goes to a matter of escalation.
Its just like law enforcement...the cops get new bulletproof vests...answering to that the crooks & criminals get armor piercing ammo. or in the common warfare---they get tanks, the opponents gets anti-tank missiles
same circle goes on and on.
but what can you say...as long as this circle keeps turning there's always money coming out from it
...kinsa maka benifit? do I need to elaborate? hahahah
we usually change bills, my dad has a numerous collection of old bills which dates way back...
The reason for creating new Philippine Peso bills, according to the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas is that counterfeiters have already perfected our current bills.
In my opinion, the new Philippine Peso bills look very modern. I believe it’s about time that we change our bills. Plus, there are new security features that were added. The new security features that were added/updated were:
- Rougher embossed prints
- Serial numbers are now increasing in size
- Random red and blue security fibers
- Watermark of the portrait the numerical figure
- See through watermark of “Pilipino” in Baybayin language
- Concealed value that is superimposed at the upper left at the front of the bill – this becomes obvious when tilted 45 degrees
- Security thread that changes from red to green
only in 100 and above bills: the front bears the word BSP*** (denomination i.e. BSP500), at the back bears the word BSP — both are in repeated series
- Optically Variable Difference – only in 500 and 1000 bills
- reflective foil that shows the difference in the featured animal and a small BSP logo
- the image becomes red to green when rotated at 90 degrees.
- Optically Variable Ink – only in 1000 bill
- the embossed 1000 becomes green to blue when looking at it in different angles
