Even on applications that take advantage of 6cores, AMD is just offering a slower product.. check out the encoding and rendering benchmarks.. It make take AMD 2 more cores to even out with the 2500K so thats technically 4cores vs 8 just to even out.

AMD is way slower than this one. even 6 cores cant catch up to a 4 core sandybridge.
But in my case Who needs 6 cores when your just into gaming or rendering apps.
6 cores are best for server use.

6cores are actually good for rendering since they've been made to run in SMP mode even before dualcores existed.

Of course whatever application that utilizes all six cores are great for 6 core processor.

Thing here 6 core is better used for workstations that is for full time rendering or small server.

Pero all around performance or for "home" used for mixed applications, gaming ect you'd get better worth for your money going for 2500k.

go for AMD nalang..mas dako ka matipid sa processor og sa mobo..makapalit paka og mobo na sata 6gb/ps with usb3 na barato kaysa intel..bisan games or anything amd 6 core is good enough to match i5..if ur going to OC go for i5 pero kailangan nasad ka mag budget more for PSU & good motherboard..i suggest AMD, as mas maau sad cla in terms of video rendering than 4 core i5..
