that's okay, i guess. who knows, it might be a happy ending like in the movie Serendipity. or maybe it'd turn out like My Sassy Girl.
speaking of that last movie, there was a line from there spoken by an old man who happened to open the time capsule of the two principal characters. he said that 'fate is building a bridge of chance for the one you love.' something like that.

err.. fate, in other words is called destiny. destiny is supposed to unfold itself - on its own. what that old man said was paradoxical to me. but it makes sense just the same. that line means that instead of leaving fate to run its own course, a person should try to do things, anything at all that he can do, to try to guide it. that's how i understood it.
and in the case of love, it seems to say not to just wait for destiny to proclaim it. but to take action 'now' and make destiny fulfill itself with the person as full participant. *gulp*
