About Lastikman, the movie was done in a month only daw. So that means bati siya, that includes the special fx. I knew a little about the special efx creator of that movie, he is good, he was the one who made the Absolute commecial where you see a grasshopper jumping over the absolute bottle. Pero wala niya ma execute iyang mastery sa animation in the Lastikman movie, maybe because of the short time alloted for him.

oh yeah, If I had the power, I would never ever have awarded Spirit Warriors a best picture award.

after observing some of our commercials, they have better special effects than any of our films.

whoa, I don't remember creating this thread....I must've been young back then.

over the years I found out that these commercial SFX aren't actually done in the PHils. Ad agencies outsource their post-prod to other countires (like Singapore, China or India)

That revelation was kind of a blow to me. I always thought na kita gyud mga pinoy ga handle sa post prod....outsource diay.

It's possible daw to do that kind of post prod locally, pero reasons daw kay expensive unya ang technology available....AD agencies prefer outside kay cheaper daw...

kasagaran maka daog og oscar kanang mga drama man so wala kaayo efx. gasto kaoyo nang special effects.

makalingaw man sad nang low budget efx morag mga early 80's sci-fi movies.

pero basta bisaya ga himo nindot na. anyway mga bisaya is moving forward sad sa efx with a limited budget lang. naanamay mga computer software god nga barato that is widely available unlike in the past.

behind ta sa hollywood because they have a large budget sa effects, mao god na ilang export movies, mo gasto gyud sila.
