that news is about 4 months old, Intel has already regained its ground when Core 2 duo was officialy released

another fanboyism. the topic is about current chip.urs is 4months ago. ill answer it anyways. based on experience.

have you used both systems ,,say. an S939 3200+ vs. a presshot 3.2?

i do. in our opis we have both.. and we're doing serious work here.

tell u. ur amd lag behind intel in photoshop and like apps. because of the hyperthreading.
my intel rig can run 7-10 apps..illustrator,photoshop.corel. burn.vegas.encode mp3.limewire.firefox and winamp at once with a very slightl performance lag.very tolerable.

but when tried it with the 3200+... nindot gukdon ug bolo para mupaspas ug dagan.we have to close some apps to fasten up the performance.
it is the reason the amd camp roll out x2. and they made it right on the note.

even with a single application.specially video encoding. intel owns amd.

but as being said. both proccessor had it's own strenght and weakness.

in 3d rendering and GAMES, AMD REIGNS! because of being a native 64bit and wider L1 cahe ( 64kb + 64kb ),advance L2 and HTT interconnect bus

no wonder DARTH VADER IS MADE WITH IT.3d effects.

but the table has turned. now INTEL owns AMD , period.

and as the cycle goes. it's just a matter of time before amd will have something to face intel core architecture.
