depends on the mobo. limited ka sa imoha OC.
so lets say
Asus P5Q Pro
FSB (1600 / 1333 / 1066 / 800 MHz)
Q9550 12 MB L2 2.83 GHz 1333 MHz FSB
As you can see this one was OC'ed to its "FSB: 1900" fsb:mem ratio 1:1
Kani "FSB: 1800" tapos fsb:mem ratio is 5:6
When i have time i'll make a comparison on a 4ghz OC with a different fsb ratio; ie 1:1 5:6 1:8 and show you SuperPI, IBT runs; you will see that the best is getting it to a 1:1 ratio.
Kung stock settings lang (di ko ka verify kung pila ang stock fsb ratio in terms of your cpu).
imho get the best proc you can pair with your mobo, kay kung pure raw power lang naa gihapon "ooomph"; Sa imoha pangutana unless imo gi-underclock ang proc then didto mu-"lag" but i am sure na dili lang "2.6ghz" na.
Taas na gani nang 2.6ghz na fsb
Ayaw pud i-confuse ang cpu speed with fsb speed. In a nutshell kung stock settings lang ka NO OC; just buy the best proc/mobo you can get.
