I used to work in the metrobank building sa osmena blvd. Yup, no 13th floor in that building. Not sure tho if its just the numbering, i think bitaw that they just marked the 13th floor as 14th, the 14th as 15th and so on... kind of funny that way...

Urban legends ra na ang unluck number 13...

Thou naa pod mga possibilities, 13 and date gi byaan ko sa ako ex pag 2002, 13 ang date nga nag court ko ug lain girl (that girl made a tremendous impact on my work and my future)...

Pero ika seat 13 pod ko sa board exam (which i passed of course), then 13 was the day before I got a new job...

It doesn't make sense really.. it's just numbers.... I don't believe on the significance of that number. Pero para mag likay ug bad luck, building owners skip the number 13.

    then jump......

    plok!!!

patay intawn kaluoy... tungod lang sa tuo-tuo...

pwede man butangan lang nila ug "12+1", kahibaw bitaw tanan tawo ug math.

I have countless of experiences wherein the number 13 is always a lucky number for me. Another quick example is when my inbox or bulk folder in Yahoo contains 13 emails...so same story....something good will happen afterwards. Like when this Chinese Astrolger texted me and offered me her free service on interpreting my Birth Chart. Honestly, she was soooo amazing.

Another example is one fine Thursday afternoon when I bought a large mango shake from Thirsty! After I paid the amount, I was given a card with number 13 as my priority number. So I said to myself: "This must be another luck for me again. I wonder what this day has stored for me." I was expecting something will happen to me in a mysterious way.

It was almost 12 mid night when I went out from the office. Like my usual route, I went up to the skywalk (flyover whatever it is) at Jones to go to another side of the road and guess what? As I was walking, I saw a peso bill. Of course, I picked it up and it was P50. So I said to myself, "Good, this is for my dinner." Yes, I took my dinner past 12 mid night. I was kinda full that afternoon so I had to take my dinner late that night. =)

Another was during the Cebu International Immigraiton and Education Expo last October when the Event Director offered the booth #13 to Order of the Mystic Arts for free because nobody from the exhibitors would like to rent that booth.

To put this in a different perspective....it is like asking why I have been seeing number 13 alot, I mean, every time I look at the time, computer, TV and etc...., what does this mean? As we all know number 13 is known to be a bad luck.

So I dig deeper to understand the nature of "number 13."

The vibrations of the number 13 are good and whole and solid and very, very powerful and not at all nasty or bad luck.

13 is not an unlucky number, as many people believe. 13 is associated with genius - also with explorers, breaking the orthodox and new discoveries of all kinds. No wonder I'm fond of learning things as much as I could.

Adapting to change gracefully will bring out the strength of the 13 vibration, and decrease its potential for negativity. I think I'm experiencing something...financially...lolz...no kidding I paid some of my debts! =)

I suspect the power inherent in the number is one of the reasons for it's negative reputation. Those who do not resonate with its vibrations find the vibes to be an obstacle and will certainly experience negative circumstances in their lives.

The individual digits in the number 13 add up to the number 4, which represents the building of a foundation for the future. 13 is the foundation of humanity, no less.

Resonating with the number can result in profound understandings. The knowledge can be used for good or for evil, as past masters of the knowledge have demonstrated — the wizards and witches and magicians of lore.

The use of that understanding to gain what was unwanted by others may be another reason for the number's negative reputation.

Everything is balanced. When something can be used for good, it can also be used for bad. With a number as powerful as 13, the effects can be dramatic and profound and can have a long-lasting ripple effect into the future.

Recent experience with number 13 is when I got a call last July 12, 2006 and informed me that I have my final interview the following day which is (July 13, 2006). During my interview I was happy because I finally made it to the top. My new employer who is a foreigner informed me that I'm his number one pick among the four newly hired employees. Not only that, I was forced to transfer to another room in my dormitory because the owner of the dormitory decided to have four (4) occupants in my previous room and I can no longer afford to pay a room with 4 occupants. So I decided to transfer to another room and this time it's Room 3 - 1 (3rd floor, room one). Still if you swap this number it gives me the number 13 and if you add up these two digits it will give you number 4. And of course I applied
Feng Shui in my new room.

Lastly, I can say that the number 13 is my lucky number especially that I have a new job and a new employer after 9 years with the previous company.

What I shared here is one of my journals or blogs I maintained in my personal website. Have a nice everyone!

    what's with number 4 pud d i? 13 or 1+3 = 4? mao na way 4th floor? so kung taas kaau ang bldg..say 100 floors.. walay 49th. 58th, 67th, 76th, 85th, ug 94th floor kay puro man bad ang total = 13.

wala say 22th, 31st, 40th kay equals 4 man sad.. bad pud?

di nalang ko mag.civil/construction engineer aning kalakiha kay lisud na pag.numero palang sa mga floors oi..
