    if gusto ka mag DHCP, ka connect gihapon sa battle.net pero di ka create. kung mag static sad ka, i increment lang ang port starting from 6112++ thats what i did here sa ako shop.

    still can do anything, but administrators must remember names. and shud create DNS. which is very fuzzy. and Naming System takes much time and resources.
    very correct. i can see, control, fix, etc. the server and clients in my kiosk here in my room or anywhere in this world by the use of a vnc.

    For me since you have 30pcs..I'll go for DHCP. Since daghan2x na bro unya mag static ka, you have document each PCs with their corresponding static ip address. If you do DHCP, you can still see the workstation's ip address in your server. No hussle bro ang DHCP.

    Fixed IP is a LOT better than DHCP. let the others discuss about the technical reasons as the most important ones had been stated already.
    DHCP is only good if your on a house network with 3 computers or less and dont care about network settings and security.
