and if dubai would sink to a quicksand of debt, dili maapektuhan ang abu dhabi?sobra pa sa apekto na ba...
it's more than just national pride.. you see, Dubai's debts are not sovereign debts.. ila mga utang wala sa ngalan sa Dubai nga emirate itself, naa sa al-Maktoum family.. so its a pity for the UAE seeing Abu Dhabi bail out Dubai for something the emirate itself was not liable in the first place..

ending, pinaka affected ang state economy sa UAE, samot na ang central bank nila which is supposed to be given priority instead of Dubai World Inc and Nakheel (al-Maktoum companies).. that's why its highly improper kay ga send ug wrong signal sa mga investors..

mura ra gud na ug ang philippine govt ang gabayad sa mga utang ni gloria arroyo abi kay sya ang presidente.. mao na ang scenario karon sa pag ayuda sa abu dhabi sa dubai

Why do you think it's a pity to help your neighbor especially your blood brother. I believe you got that sickness we called "crab mentality". On the second thought, if your crab mentality withholds you to help your struggling neighbor coz you are so excited to see them fall, then that is what we call "pity". Your mentality might be the rationale behind why the Philippines is slow to rise.

    Get your facts straight.

Firstly, what about their Central Bank? I can't understand what your talking about. We believe here that it is as strong as ever since it is own by the whole Emirates. The Burj Khalifa is own by Emaar Properties which is a different private consortium, not by Dubai World

Fact #1, ang utang sa Pinas dili utang ni Gloria. Period. Kanang nindot nga SRP ug tunnel sa Cebu are part of sovereign debts which is necessary for development. Ug usa lamang kana sa mga projects sa GMA admin but it is not under Gloria's name. Kana nga mga project mao nay atong giingon nga capital investment nga kinahanglan mangutang ta para mahimo. Just like Burj Khalifa where the investor (Emaar) borrowed money for it's construction.

Fact #2, the existing national debt of the Philippines is an accumulated debt since before the Marcos regime carried over to the current admin. You don't solely blame the current admin for our existing debts, you're barking up the wrong tree. Government Investments needs a lot of time for it's ROI. The fruits of the current governments labor may not be felt today but the governments to come. Don't count the chicks when the eggs were not hatched yet.
