    7) and all other expenses
Another expense is the salary of the cafe attendant/technician. Good thing if you do the task by yourself, all-around. This is cost-saving but burdensome.

i want an honest answer... is getting into the inet cafe business still a wise move nowadays? Is having and expected ROI of 3-4 yrs reasonable? Considering that technology changes so fast?

If you have 15 units, how much is the minimum monthly sales?
I plan to start one... I estimated a monthly sale of P40k/month... Is that too high? Area is in Tabunok, Talisay....

Also, maau ba ang Globelines Broadband for business like this? Naa man gud sila promo w/ free 2 desktop nya P4k/mo apil na dsl....

Help! this will be my first venture into a business... I am very interested, however, Im scared i might not be able to pay off all the expenses with my projections...

    Thanks kaau!
The first factor to consider is the location. Pick a good spot. Is it near to school? establishment? do you find competitors in that area? How about brown-outs? Next factor is the internet connectivity. Is the connection fast and consistent based on the location? Last is your expected ROI. Are you gonna rent a space? Will this be owned by you or do you have business partner? 3-4 years ROI is possible if you are lucky to locate a good spot plus some gimmicks to attract customers.

Example, the i-net cafe near our house is having a promo of 1 hour free internet for 2-hours internet usage. And they start to open from 9-am to 11pm.

@cliff_drew... meaning possible nga more than 3-4 yrs ang ROI? will be renting a space @ 6k per month. location is heavy traffic - near terminal, public market, schools and residential areas.
I am still debating between pldt or globe for my internet connectivity... which is better for bus? I have a partner who will do all the installation of the PCs and maintenance. The rest of the capital is my expense....

i like the suggestion for the 2+1 promo...might do the same as an opening promo...

so you think it is still wise to set-up an inet cafe these days? with 15units, is P40-45k sales per month feasible?

*don't forget BIR MOntly Percentage Return, plus quarterly ug annual nga bayranan sa ila hahhahahaha..
*also, IMHO dili igo ang 10 units kung imo ni saligan as your bread and butter.
    dapat at least 15 units.

*so you say there's that heavy foot traffic in that area, how about the competition? If wala pa kaayo competensya, I think ok ra, pero kung daghan namo ayaw na lang or masugama ra pud ka parehas sauban. "price war" bati kaayo pero sad to say, most shops would resort to this because of tight competition.
