nindot baya kaayo ang 50mm 1.8 sa nikon. but pwede ra gyud manual ug tuyok2x sa focus if that doesn't bother you. mo indicate raman na diba if na tunong na?

You might want to consider the fact that nikon d5000 doesn't have an internal autofocus motor so older lenses specially the classic and favorite 50mm 1.8 by nikon will not autofocus in this camera and some third party lenses. of course you can always do manual focusing.

by the way, im a d5000 user here. no regrets so far. i used the 50mm 1.8 manually and it's a breeze to use. at first intimidated ko to manual focus pero sayun raman diay.

TS, naa ra nimo kung unsa gyud imong paliton pero kung decided ka nga D5000, dili gyud ka magmahay for sure, cute kaayo siya para nimo kay chicks man diay ka. Dili na managko imong abaga kung mag-shooting ka the whole day... hehe ... don't worry naa nay prime lens nga AFS-35mm, for only S$400 or around 12K petot.

heheheh! bug.at diay ang canon500d? curious lng kay nka gunit nko ug 1DS mark III nga perting nerbyos nko kay dili ra ba ato. Medyo may kabigatan din.

naka palit na jud ko ug 500d for the start lang sa.. so far ok ramn ky nga explore pasad ko sa camera ug unsa mabuhat sa dslr vs p&s na camera. excited ko always kong mag dala ko sa cam pero dli lang jud ko ka timing sa mga nndot nga moment.. pero so far canon 500d very good choicegyud to nako ug usa pa mas barato ang canon kysa nikon

sus, suya kaayo ko ana kay dali ra kaayo na mag-macro2x kay pwede nimo ma-set manually

Though I prefer Nikon, I would not get a body without an AF motor. If you can afford it, skip the D5000 and go directly to the D90. If not, get the 500D. HTH.
