A friend of mine tasted the Brasco flavor pizza of Brasco. It's reportedly exceptional and worth that prices.

Some of Brasco's pizzas have weird prices when compared to others.

Brasco offers 3 sizes of pizzas - 10 inches, 14 inches and 20 inches. All pizzas have mozarella cheese and really rich pasta sauce.

    Brasco Hawaiian pizza

    10 inches - P168
    14 - P308
    20 - P592 (!!!)

    Compare it with

    Mamma Maria's Pizzeria Hawaiian

    11 inches - P150
    15 - P295
    21 - P485

    Calda Hawaiian

    10 inches - P160
    15 - P280
    20 - P420

That's with the Hawaiian flavor comparisons.

Something went wrong at Brasco recently. Even though the place was mostly vacant, it took Brasco 45 minutes to serve a pizza to some customers who were seated.

The quality and the taste of the pizza, however, still proved to be rich and satisfying to them.

    Brasco Pizza in the news

AFTER four years of research and product development, a Cebu-based entrepreneur opened his first pizza and pasta outlet in Cebu.

Brian Espina launched yesterday Brasco Pizza & Pasta, one of the tenants of The Gallery on Juan Luna Ave. in Mabolo, Cebu City.

Despite the mushrooming of pizza outlets in the city, he still pushed with his plan in the desire to provide “value-for-money” pizza and pasta variants to the market.

“The pizza industry (in Cebu) is now very competitive. The market for pizza in Cebu is already saturated. This is why it is necessary for us to serve quality food products that are worth the money the customers are paying,” said Espina, who is also the owner and manager of Butterbean Cookie Factory.

    Quality

He pointed out that while the Cebuanos are known to be frugal, they would spend for quality products they could enjoy.

Brasco is short for Brian’s Aspirations Company. With an estimated P1 million investment and with eight employees, Brasco soft-opened last Oct. 28.

Sitting on a 50-square-meter area in The Gallery, the food outlet offers 13 pizza variants, pasta dishes, homemade ice cream, and shakes, among others. Its pizza sizes are 10 inches, 14 inches, and 20 inches in diameter with current prices ranging from P119 to P812.

“The concept of Brasco is that everything is homemade, even the ice cream and shakes,” Espina said.

He added that they are targeting barkadas, families, and nearby offices as potential customers.

Brasco also offers deliveries at a minimum order of P200 to residences and business establishments in Mabolo, Banilad, and Lahug. However, they are still capable of
delivering to areas beyond these barangays and within the city, said Espina.

The store is now heavily focused on quality rather than putting up branches, although the management is evaluating the viability of an expansion plan.
