sa una, ganahan kaayo ko songs sa scorpions, and even now. also, i'm a big fan of eraserheads. basta pinoy alternative music, e.g. rizal underground, rivermaya, grin department etc. ganahan sad jud ayo ko aerosmith! nindot jud kaayo! when my older brother introduced that album from greenday(dookie), *think i was a fifth grader back then*, i got interested and that's when i started to like punk rock. *offsprings' smash album sure is a good one.*

i first picked up the guitar when i heard the sick guitar lick from the song Sweet Child O' Mine by Slash and About A Girl by Nirvana. ever since that, i've strummed the guitar to random tunes.

with the violin, it's different. i got lured into playing the violin after seeing my mum's cousin play on tv. tho classically trained, my violin influences are Stephane Grapelli, Jean-Luc Ponty, Regina Carter, Nigel Kennedy, and a bit of Vanessa Mae. I also love listening to Turtle Island String Quartet.

Cool. i always envy a violin player. the violin is a very expressive instrument... love to emulate the sound with an electric guitar. very much inspired by Paganini's legend. dat devil. hehe.

when i was in elementary... everyday i hear the screeching music of death metals played in our stereo by my brother until i like listening to sepultura, black sabbath and slayer...then it went down to pantera, metallica and even bon jovi's keep the faith album... it goes until i was in 3rd yr. h.s.

i don't know but i shifted in a pure rap music with n.w.a, wu-tang clan, tupac, notorious big and b.t.n.h....

when i was in first yr. college back in usjr most of my friends are into bands playing alternative music like gin blossom, live, collective soul[/b] and etc... i jam along with them.

but the first time i hear reggae music(no woman, no cry) twas played by one of our local band, the herbs. the lyrics and the rhythm seems sopowerful in my ear..... until now i listened to reggae.

    - It was listening to Nuno Bettencourt of Extreme, Scotti Hill, lead guitar player of the band Skid Row and Slash of Guns n' Roses that influenced me into studying lead guitar.

Then started playin with it then it came Metallica and Pantera thats where I started to learn lead stuff.

    First RAP Album:
    • MC Hammer - The Funky Headhunter
I was below 10. I also wanted to buy his first album, and the album of Vanilla Ice too. Too bad got no money. This was also the first record I've ever owned.

    First ROCK Album:
    • Silverchair - Frogstomp
...although I think they still rock. Needed some originality, but those guys could really play. I was around 1st year high school. They were the first rock band I liked-- and inspired me to listen to other bands as well. Me, my brother, and a neighbor wanted to form a band, but we had no talent or experience whatsoever. I guess they also inspired us to play guitar, bass, drums.

    First Electronica Album:
    • Arkarna - Fresh Meat
    - Bought the record 2nd year high. I always thought electronic music was downright stupid. I actually thought Arkarna was a heavy rock band at first, and after buying and listening to this album, I was disappointed. VERY disappointed. They were an electronic band similar to Prodigy. I locked away the tape. Only a couple of months ago did I decide to listen to the album again, and to my surprise, I loved EVERY TRACK OFF IT. Well, I was actually beginning to like techo/trance/house in my college years. I think this album is the most UNDERRATED electronic album. I can't even download most tracks of a p2p engine. :P
