Why Do Most Pastors Like Indie Rock?

belive it or not one of the guy who influenced me to listen to Metal is a Priest. my cousin, Fr. Loy Pasquil introduced me to Deicide and Cannibal Corpse to Obituary..pero i was hookd more on Sepultura. and i also know a nun who listens to 2 Live Crew and NWA(seriously, no joke..)... My Priest cousin also loves indie music. his a big Daniel Johnston fan. he introduced me to Pexies and, Belle and Sebatian.but somehow he cant stand Bright Eyes or Arcade Fire....

all im saying is, people who serve or work for the church or on any religious matter are just like every other people who listens to diiferent music.its just somehow we find to steroetype them to certain music, religious music to be exact. hehe

i dunno but i noticed most pastors today... most of their playlist or music recommendation are indie rock...

You sure? Coz I know a heckuva lot of pastors and NONE of them even know what indie rock is.

no offense. but isnt it too assuming, just cause you know one doesnt mean most of them now listens to indie rock. i know a couple of Pastors aswell but im 100% sure indie rock is not on their playlist. if they do, i would have gone to seminars.hehehe my brother's friend is a pastor from some church in new jersey, wa man toy ka idea2x unsay indie rock. pero ganahan noun kaayo og kid rock og garth brooks..

I grew up in baptist church and believe me..that was horrible. non conservative preachers may listen to indie rock. conservative preachers considers all rock music from shaitan so....that includes indie.


I've been day dreamin of seeing my pastor nose bleed hearing "feed me with your kiss" by MBV for the first time. hope it happens.
