with your current bios, the board will still support it. it just won't show it as phenom 550; maybe phenom b50.

Based on the other boards like biostar which you have to make a bios downgrade to jan 09, the 550 will run.

i think they are really quads nga gituli. . .

no proc can beat it in the market today when it comes to price to performance.

the good thing is that at stock volts you can get to a good 3.8 OC. this is very important as for me, running an OC rig 24/7 is better with stock volts.
