Yes, we should amend it before 2010
Yes but only after the 2010 election.
No, there is no problem with our constitution.
No, because I don't trust our lawmakers.
I am not sure.

Changing the constitution will not resolve any issues in our country, this is another desperate move from the administration to keep their seats in Malacaņang...poor gloria and company
but what we are all wrong?
Filipinos should act faster against the Administration of GLoria Arroyo. Protest actions, one day a month boycott not to buy anything. We dont let them do what they wanna do, contact your congressman tell him not to support this stupid and desperate act by the ARROYO Administration.
maybe we are also wrong that there are many corrupts congressmen? maybe we are also wrong that most government projects are overpriced?
when one congressman was ask about the WHEREAS (about term limits) clause, his reply was that he can't guarantee that it will not be change.
The road to amending the Constitution is far more difficult than we could imagine. Those who insinuate that the House of Representatives could easily manipulate anyone to change the Constitutional provision especially with regard to term limits do not seem to realize that the HOR is working on its own.
The Senate knows that it has to do something. Otherwise, they will be branded as futile. With too many political interests intertwined, it will be difficult for anyone not to bring this to the Supreme Court. And the Supreme Court will clarify the matter to our legislators. Before all of these happen, 2010 elections is already taking place. Hence, no charter change can be achieved at this time.
