One important thing if you wanna buy a PSU is the watts. Always choose the 500watts or more than with that. Because when configuring a system with more power-consuming devices. The system may become unstable or may not boot up if the power is inadequate. Then choose the brand what is best for you, including the connectors.

Bro, base lang sa experience...when choosing power supply, look for higher wattage. But even you have the most powerful psu, it can be broken also. Why? It depend on the usage, dont put extra power consuming devices like too much fans, decorative lights and the hard drives. It's like a termites that slowly kill you psu.

Well, there's your answer... Consistency is a very good sign for choosing a brand..

imho, either brand will do just fine. differences in performance will be small, if any. it seems that price won't be an issue for you so i think choose the one that has features you need (and/or want), such as

(i'm assuming wattage is the same)

1. power factor correction and efficiency
2. separate voltage rails (5v, 3.3v, 12v)
3. cable management (modular, sleeved, etc)
4. standards compliance
5. looks, esp if you have a windowed case c",)
6. fan size, placement
7. noise level esp at load
8. if you plan on having sli or crossfire, check if the psu is certified
9. availability
10. supplier's warranty and after sales service

personally i'm using a silverstone psu but i wouldn't hesitate recommending enermax anytime.
