Thread: ECU remapping?

  1. #11

Mas maayo kung mao na ug mas maayo kung naay mahimong improvement from stock settings.
It would be nice pud kung ma change nila ang ignition spark to a much powerful one for better burn and fuel efficiency. hehe

Kung gusto ka makadaginot, get away from fuel injected cars nga naay oxygen sensors sa exhaust, wala nay ayo for fuel efficiency kay walay mohatag nimo nga manufacturer ug fuel efficient nga makina. Cars are primarily made to burn more fuel than what you actually need, they are not primarily made for transportation ug they are not primarily made aron fuel efficient. Wala na mabutang sa ilang business plan nga hatagan ka ug fuel efficient nga car.

Bisan pwede pa ka maka reconfigure sa ecu settings, walay pulos if you don't change the injectors with injectors nga mo fog ug fuel. Ang current fuel injectors murag gripo, dagko ug lungag.
    mo agree gyud ko ani.

dili man nga naka minos ko sa chief mechanic pero when you tune your car to be fuel efficient.... there are a lot things to consider.... as what boss vernie pointed out... u need to change the right injectors, timing, efficiency sa spark sa imo plugs, a/f ratio ug uban pa... not to mention e dyno para makuha ang proper hp. which i dont think makaya ni nila or have the proper training to do this. It would be the first time na makadungog ko nga ang car company nag inform sa ila customers na e reprogram ila ecu para ma fuel efficient.

Maaypa mag piggyback nalang as what jackson suggested, just like mine also, currently ive installed a piggyback (apexi neo) on my ep82, set 2 program parameters using a/f ratio readings, one is set for race mode runs around 6-8km/ltr with no fuel cuts on high boost (1.2bar HKS FCD installed). and one is set for economy (tipid mode) runs around 12-14km/ltr. so far ok ra gyud ko sa piggyback (walay choice kay dili man ma re program ang ecu sa toyota). all are tested with the GTECH PRO RR.

Available Optra 1.8 remap at your dealership - Team-BHP

Went for the car service today and was told by the service personnel that GM has been working on new codes for the ECU of the 1.8L Optra for better performance and FE. The software will be soon send to the dealers and they will remap your ECU with the new codes for better performance and FE. All this obviously free of cost.
