CERN is a top research and engineering facility where most of the top scientists, engineers, researchers, and the likes, are being housed where they could be housed and funded. This research facility was also mentioned in Dan Brown's Angels and Demons where the first murder occured.
I wonder how the church got the number 666 as the demon's number? or is it another black propaganda against paganism who hailed the number 6 as the most powerful number? perhaps we should ask its origin first before believing something out of it. We could not deny that paganism was once the Roman Catholic church's archenemy. The latter, making up a black propaganda by branding them as devil worshipers thus the Great Witchhunt of Europe was based upon. Though paganism does holds rituals that are often misunderstood...but pagans never worshipped the Devil.
so na-mention ang CERN sa the omen? i haven't seen this movie pa.Originally Posted by IceInHeLL

Pwedi himu-on puli sa toyo or suka ang Antimatter? Kung wala'y uyap, pwedi Antimatter nalang ang ibutang sa mangga nga hilaw?
Makaon nang Antimatter?
The movie was watchable and surprisingly good.
- I liked the fiendish atmospherics and foreboding, this was portrayed by some (cheap) BOO scares... and even visuals that are not for the faint-of heart.
- Beltrami's score is excellent. I really like the way he composes ominous melodies that suggest a frantic temperament, the presence of evil, or outright urgency for suspense.
- Shcrieber was intense in his role as an unbelieving yet scrupled man... you will see his character arc back and forth as he wishes the demon child dead... and when he is told to do so, hesitates. And in a very graphic scene, takes all back assumes responsibility at which point there is a thrilling final scene where the audience ain the cinema applauded and cheered for Schrieber.
- Mia Farrow and Julia Stiles were also very good players.
What's interesting is that the screen play was written by the same scribe as the 76 original.
I don't know if somebody has mentioned it already but I guess the reason why Mr. Borromeo is posting CERN in this particular forum is because the research facility's logo resembles the numbers 666 or the Devil's number. It is also quite interesting coz CERN is suspected to be the modern-day safehouse for people who are against the church. But I think CERN is a financial generated establishment aiming to provide the great minds of today the venue to make their dreams come to reality.
Salamat, naa na gyu'y nakasabot sa akong post.
It took three days...
kahibaw ko woi, mao ganing nangutana ko if pwedi na ipares ang Anti-Matter sa hilaw nga mangga kung wala'y oyap...
Not quite...I think Dan Brown fanatics are already aware of this because, of all the popular authors of today, it was Mr. Brown who suggested it in his book. Although, that suggestion is already widely known amongst those who are people of science. However, as I have mentioned before, how accurate is the majority's belief that the number 666 represents the devil? Or is just another propaganda from the church knowing that pagans or those practicing Wicca adors the number 6 as the most powerful numbers just as the west thinks of the number 8 as a representation of eternity?Originally Posted by Carlo Borromeo
