    yep..
    cool! another ddwrt user??
have you tried reviving a bricked wrt54g?
hehehe took me 3hours and 800bucks(for the equipment bought from ebay US) to revive mine)

anyways, be sure to set policies properly, otherwise the router won't be able to properly execute the policy of not allowing the computers to access internet

    Wrong.
Wireless MAC restriction is different from Access Restriction.
Access Restriction will restrict the clients' access to the WAN connection, therefore they cannot have access in/out of the WAN, no internet or whatever is outside that WAN port. But they can still be in the LAN and share files, etc.

Wireless MAC restriction will restrict the client's access to the Wireless AP/Router, no DHCP, no IP, no authentication.

    nope i've never bricked a linksys *cross-fingers*
but i've bricked my Airlink101, but i was able to build a JTAG cable and was able to unbrick it. now it's working again.

    cool!
    yeah ddwrt is really powerful
    making a 60dollar router to a 600dollar router..
i bought the jtag off from ebay US took 6months to arrive.. while waiting.. made mine worth 500bucks..
and revived my wrt54g. when jtag arrived, my 2nd wrt54g and one of my client's wrt54gs got bricked too, due to quick power outage.. and revived it... hehehe

you made yours for 500bucks? u got ripped off.
made mine for less than 100.00, a few diodes, resistors, and utp cable wires... lol.

    @coolnezz
pwede nimo un-brick akong linksys wrt54g? bayad lng ko. btw YGPM

now you're screwed! you didn't follow directions did you?
how did you brick that? you're not supposed to flash that particular router from the web interface for the initial flashing. you need to use linksys tftp program first.
you need to make a jtag cable or buy it from ebay. then follow these procedure step by step!
you also need to know how to solder.
