The logic is simple, Asus wants you to overlock because they know the motherboard you have is not the best.

You need to buy the best from them :P

yes they were quite expensive pieces of hardware bec. they are geared towards more on the extreme overclocking side...there is another side to overclocking...what i will call the lost art of overclocking...it is not buying the best/most expensive stuff & running it faster, it is buying the most affordable stuff & making it go fast ...the overclocking methods could be the same, the results quite different...
