Whats the significant difference between AMD and Intel, anybody could tell..? :

I use Intel eversince i dont have problem at all. just like microsoft we are all using it but now theres linux and others. so comparison for me is not so especial for as long as you are satisfied and thats fine.

BeNZ...ako gamit ko dual PIII 667 sa bahay...but i havent seen any dual AMD with equavalent speed of PIII 667. And I am very satisfied eventhough na hindi ko gamit ang dual capabilites of my rig.

There's a lot...
We are on a processor war... i just want to let everybody know that, Intel is not the only one in the market. And Intel IS NOT THE BES! People buy intel because its "intel". Only some knows AMD. And only few knows that AMD has the strength to kick intel processor's ass.
BTW, not all computer stores here sells/supports good AMD Computers.
So far, 100% of my customers are satisfied with their AMD systems.
No complains in terms of performance and stability.
15% of my intel buyers complain for its performance.
90% of Computer Hardware Enthusiast (based on my knowledge) choose AMD.
here's a summary for you...

Price:
AMD is a lot cheaper than Intel

Performance:
AMD beats Intel

Stability (CPU)
AMD=INTEL

Heat Management
Intel is cooler than AMD

Most important is that AMD beats Intel in Price and Performance.

the rule is to choose the best hardware
suitable for your needs and if u can afford it.
i dont have problems with intel hardwares, i've
been working with it for embedded and system
software development for the last six year and
seems satisfied with the results. for complete
hardware solution, i prefer micron, zeoz (pantera)
and dell. for AMD, i dont know, maybe. i'm not
impressed with its performance based on what
i read. so u guys, pls post here anything related
with AMD. sure it will help me and everyone out
there.

I'm not involved in software development but... AMD still beats Intel in most compilers. In terms of speed. Windows and Linux.
Gaming? Obviously... its AMD!!!
web Surfers? samot... if nag research ang surfer about AMD and intel then... still AMD.
Web developers.... no idea...
PC Hardware Enthusiasts.... no other choice... but AMD...
