Buy silverstone PSU for sure.
I beg to differThere was 1 batch of the St50F last year around june that we had to replace. But we have replaced almost all already and with the batch before that and the new batch, 0 warranty issues. We have discussed this with Silverstone and it has been dealt with. Non the less our support is there and we honored all warranty issues.
Regards.
Fine Upgrades
Thats nice to hear, its really convenient if the official distro is located locally.
^^ Im not saying you follow mine, Im just saying the plugging in 4 sticks on all 4 slots takes its toll on the motherboard. Usahay makuwang ra ang voltage. Which is why people increase it para stable. If you dont care about stuff like that OK rman pud. I dont really think it matters.
If you want it to be stable, test all 4 sticks on stock voltage with memtest or prime95 for a few hours. If stable sya then no need to increase voltage. If mufail try increasing your ddr2 and/or maybe the NB/MCH voltage up a notch until you find the "sweet spot" na stable imo sticks.

How much RAM are you using to install Windows XP or Vista? I remmembered using the full 8 gig RAM di mo install ang XP or Vista mu hang.
Install XP or Vista using 2 gigabytes, after sa installation insert the rest of the RAM sticks and you are good to go.
