Hey Rob,
When you're on stage audience cheering on you don't know that you're a Filipino. Right? I have a suggestion, try to wear shirts with Filipino signs.
For example : wear a shirt with "I love Philippines" print on it. Or text like : Boracay, Bohol, Cebu, Bagiuo..etc... With that, you can also help promoting our tourism.

In recent light of the mudslide that happened a couple months back, we actually did a song to comemorate it. When it happened it was a week before a show, so I didn't have time to write lyrics, so we covered Black Label Society's "In This River" to all the victims of that horrific event. Right before the song I came on to the mic and told the crowd it was dedicated to everyone who lost their life in the mudslide. I wrote a song about it, performed that on in another show 2 weeks later. So everyone into the local rock scene here knows I'm Filipino.

I also might be getting a Filipino flag tatooed into my right arm soon. But I think I have a couple shirts with the Filipino Eagle on it and a shirt with the flag.

I will never forget where I came from.

i've read somewhere that u like A7x. same here... m into metalcore as well. i listen to norma jean, atreyu, dead to fall, eighteen visions etc...

My influences?

I have to say I'm influenced by old school thrash (Metallica, Slayer, Testament, Sepultura), power metal (Pantera), and a few newer bands (Lamb of God, A7x, Soulfly, Machine Head, System of a Down, BLS).

But as a vocalist, I'm heavily influenced by James Hetfield (He's my idol) and M. Shadows (his more melodic stuff in Waking the Fallen). That's my singing voice really, for my grunts and growls, people tell me I sound like Pantera and Lamb of God.

You play bass too? Ako ren. I used to play bass for a death metal band and I play blues on the bass when I have free time. I'm a full time vocalist now.
