now that my card experience overheating, will this permanently damage my card?

can't say if it will permanently damage, but may lessen the lifespan of your videocard. its 50:50.

its like overclocking your videocard, if it overheats too much, its going to be a meal ready for dinner.

my pc is a month old with this vcard . oh well, maybe i can get a much better (hopefully a cooler) card. i'm using sparkle 8600GT 512MB DDR2 (128bit). got it for P2000+.hehehe

just give your video card a decent cooling. also a decent ventilation on your system unit since it is possible that heat build-up inside your system unit can contribute to the incrementing temperatures of your videocard. if problems still occur and the videocard temperatures are normal, then there's the damage.

bale ang flak 88 ra ang nag checkered? murag missing textures ra na siya bai. kailangan lang siguro driver update sa imo vcard. ang 7300GT more than enough na maka handle ug medal of honor AA. ako-a kato sa crysis, whole screen gyud wala ma view execpt purple na checkered boxes.

this is an overheating problem of your video card. i got the same problem with my 8800GT OC when i played Crysis with only the stock heatsink of the card. my advise is get a decent cooling for your card and a sound air flow for your cpu casing.

mga bros..sagadsagaron nlang nko ni ha...kai nagsturya nman tag cooling system..mga bros..advisable ba nga hubuan nako akong CPU..i mean tangtangan ug usa ka casing sa side ba..so one side of it bare na..can this actually help in cooling the rig..maskin nag to some small degree until makapalit ug nindot ug proper cooling system for the card and for the CPU casing..pero of course you should also keep the CPU from external elements..while being "naked"

Also!..naa pa pd diay koi i add..advisable ba nang VGA cooling system baligya sa CDR-King it's like a housing sa Vcard..i don't know if custom made lang ni sa CDR-King pero im just interested..has anyone tried this?..wla hinoon ko kapangutana sa saleslady you know nman sa CDR-King busy kaayo maskn asa nga outlet maskn maghimo clag outlet sa Moalboal daghan ghapon mga tao cguro..hehe!

mao na ako gibuhat sa old na PC nako P4 2.8GHz. gi remove nako ang side casing.
they say na ang Pentium 4 (socket 47 kay pinaka-init na processor, mu agree gyud ko ana. sauna while playing games sa ako old pc, inig hikap nako sa CPU, pwerte gyud inita. naa gani instances na ni off na ako pc due to hardware monitor problem sa bios, specifically cpu temperature.

pero sa core2duo, wla pa ko problem cpu overheating, gpu lang cguro ni ako-a. sa crysis ra man sad ni na problem.

[Update] Gi revert diay nako balik ang resolution to 1024 x 768, naka play ko 5 hours straight without a2 na problem. Suwayan na pud nako ug add RAM den revert nako balik to 1280 x 720 if naa pa ba mu checkered/lockup.

hubuan nlang cguro nako ni oi..hehe!! try lang ba..i really should switch to PCI na..hahaha!! kai mura nag living fossil akong pc..hehe!
