BSOD Video Card problems would likely occur in Heavy 3d gaming.

One Possibility could be the processor is undervolted which is caused by faulty power supply. Other components as well could be affected by faulty power like the MCH(NorthBus) voltage or the ICH(Southbus).

Memory also is a big possibility. try loading windows setup. If it has BSOD even loading windows setup CD then its your RAM. If not could be the OS itself or other components.

    answer..

first thing first..make sure the auxillary fan is working.

second. elevate the section near the LCD hinge/swivel with a dvdcasing to put a breating room.
a cooling dock port is made for this.

BSOD even in blues creen for most of the time is caused by crashed partition.

if your memory has died.ur rig wont boot.that simple.

if ur video is dead..no display either just 3short beeps whwn u on ur pc.

to check crashed is partition is simple.

put xp cd in the drive.restart.
    > press enter to boot from cd..enter > EULA..f8 > windows is trying to detect previous windows installation...

    > DID UR XP INSTALLATION SEE : c:\windows xp blah.blah? press R to repair..

nope? : C:\UNKNOWN PARTITION ? too bad. ur partition had died. and so are your files at mydocs.
solution : reformat and re-install OS

yes? good thing! PRESS R for repair

    > repairing ( INSTALLING WINDOWS : assuming that ur installation cd is good and non defective ) > error...cud not copy blah.blah.dll or blah.blah.sys

    > YOU CHANGE THE MEMORY STICKS.its just defective. not dead yet

    > repairing ( INSTALLING WINDOWS : assuming that ur installation cd is good and non defective ) > error...blah.blah.blah. BAD POOL something

    > RMA ur hdd if it is a seagate..if its not..gudbye mobile hdd.

was able to finished the repair? congrats!

was able to finished yet can't log in to windows?
restart > F8 > enable vga mode > login . back-up files > add remove programs> remove VIDEO driver and chipset drivers . restart

    >>>> be sure to sure the specific drivers for ur devices!

    reported.

although poldo is right about the "INTERNET SERIOUS BUSINESS" sarcasm idea(obvious troll is obvious, and im a troll), yugi also has a point regarding the error reporting. sometimes it works, sometimes it doesnt. to accurately track down the culprit of the problem, why don't you guys try the "trial and error" method?

and its kinda funny to see guys here posting in 4 consecutive posts.

And kaguba-on na jud tali ang memory ani?

Wala pa nako na-suwayan ug check balik kun unsa tong message sa BSOD kay wala pa ko kalugar. hehe..

OT: naa man diay giyera dire.. sssssh...

nope..it is possible that a dead partition that used to contain a running xp will show boot screen then blue screen..based on my years of fixing someothers pc.

ur also right with the memory cleaning.

and u're also right na naay giyera ngari
