    Default ***SOLVED***** prolink h9200p in bridge mode?

    I find my linksys router with tomato firmware more stable. before i used to have a speedtouch 511e in bridge mode from the ISP to my linksys router. my linksys router intitiates the PPPOe sessions with globe.

    i'm having problems setting up prolink h9200p in bridge mode. . .

    if anyone has done this, can you point me in the right direction?

    Thank you.

    thats odd?

    I have never bridged the speedtouch 511e with my netgear and dlink router.

    i don't have the prolink h9200p

    but if it can be successfully bridge then i would request for a modem change

    *** SOLVED *****

    The prolink's interface is similar to the dlink's. this is where i got documentation for the prolink to work in bridge mode.

    Now, my WRT54G with tomato firmware is running the PPPOE session. This is much better and if you have not already, GET a LINKSYS WRT54GL now and put the tomato firmware of TOFU in it. . . GRABBEEEEEE KKAAAAA NINDOOOOT. . .

    Here it is:
    **********************************************
    Go to Home
    Go to Quick Configuration
    Put in ff values:
    ATM Int = 0
    Operation Mode = Enabled
    Encapsulation = 1483 Bridged IP LLC
    VPI = 0
    VCI = 35
    Bridge = Enabled
    IGMP = Disabled
    IP Add and mask = 0
    Use DHCP = disable
    Default Route = Disabled
    Gateway IP = 0
    DNS = Enable
    ********** Prolink will supply Username and Password ***
    DNS = 0
    Go To Routing
    Go To PPP
    make sure there are no entries here, if there are delete them
    Go to Routing
    Go to EOA
    make sure EOA-0 is present
    Go to Services
    Go to NAT
    Disable NAT
    Go to Bridging
    Make sure eoa-0 is included under interface name, if not add
    Go to Admin
    Go to Commit and Reboot
    Commit
    Reboot

    That's all folks . . .
    ************************************************** *****

    what do you mean by this

    is this the globe username and password or a different one?

    in my prolink, when i change it to 1483 Bridged IP LLC, it will automatically put GSPN as default vale and -blank- as password.

    if you are using netgear or dlink, i don't know if they will be better at managing traffic. i had a dlink and netgear before but "matuk-an" sila sa bittorrent connections.

    i suggest you get a wrt54gl and flash it with the newer firmware, thibor or better yet tomata by tofu

    ok thanks.

    i am still looking for the linksys WRT54G v4 and below.

    but i think its difficult already to find one.

    the wrt54GL has a higher price.

    i will just use my netgear router. and upgrade later on.

    what's the username and password of the globelines prolink 9200 modem? i would like to access it's web GUI coz i jast can't host a game even though i already knew it's external IP add#. My buddies just can't establish a connection to my PC. I suspect it's about the firewall of this modem 9200. I already turn off my McAfee firewall and my xp's firewall still unsuccessfull. i don't understand "tikit" bro. don't understand also kung tanggalon ang modem (which one? the prolink?) . also can you elaborate coz you mentioned if you take out the modem dili mo tikit kung magsurfing but how can you surf without the prolink?
