You must have dropped this external drive, it is never a good idea to use an external drive for primary storage, it's use is supposed to be for back up. These drives are fragile, unless you buy the ones which are fall-proof. Clicking sound is a sign that the disks inside are probably touching each other, therefore, you need to send this drive if importante kaayo ang contents for retrieval. The cost can be enormous. Here sa US mo range from $500 up. They actually work on those kinds of cases in a very sealed laboratory that's why it is very expensive.

Advice lang sa mga users ug external drives dili pud na maayo nga inyong ipa remain ug paslak inyong drive sa computer nga way pawng pawng, some small drives don't have fans so moinit pud na pag-ayo. Kausa ra na matagak dead na na. Goodluck!
