carlos castaneda's teacher, Don Juan Matus, once said that there is another reality that co-exists with our own. it's a non-ordinary reality, but real nonetheless. our concept of reality is so limited to the five senses that when we sometimes experience something out of the ordinary, we dismiss it as illusion.
maybe what those drug addicts experienced or sensed are fleeting glimpses of non-ordinary reality but because their bodies are not attuned or prepared for it, they go nuts.
here's another related video, an experiment on magnetic stimulation of the brain to induce out-of-body experiences.

possible but it depends...
ibat ibang states kase of 'reality'
mostly what people see kapag kakabukas pa lamang ng ajna chakra
ay projections ng kanilang psychological states of mind
kapag na-discern na kung ano ang kanila at ano ang hindi kanila but belonging to another energy form
like ghost for example or elemental
ng mind mo...kaya usually clairvoyants group together to confirm each other's perceptions
or maaaring hindi kasi mind projection nila un
its either way kapag bukas ang ajna chakra mo
unlike clairvoyants...kaya tuluyang naprapraning
do you mean ung flagellation?
or ung bugbog to the max?
hahaha, i was just amused by your term
havent seen or done that kind of meditation
the only meditation may beat na nagawa ko ay ung
Kalipa-Mu/inner dance/ Babaylan dance/sould dance (daming names...same principle)
so would appreciate if you share about this kind of meditation
and if you have experienced it yourself,
have you reached the heightened state of consciousness sa ganitong pamamaraan?
kase psychologically speaking, the mind can actually don't mind the physical stimuli
tulad nung dentist na ginagamit ang visualization at meditation instead of anesthesia
para hindi mapansin ung sakit...very effective.
sa 2nd question mo, bakit nyo po naitatanong?
im a student of this universe like everybody else...
have been studying, searching, journeying spirituality, occultism and the paranormal
for more than a decade na...still, i say, im still a student
keeping an open mind and heart to everything
processing and trying to experience as much as i can
i share what i know in the hope of learning more from others
ganun lang poh...
if you're asking about titles/degrees/etc.
well ang mga titles and degrees have no weight nor meaning sa akin
meron nga jan eh...they parade that master or doctorate kuno-hay ng divinities
well kanila yun...nothing against them...if it suits them...oki..sa akin...meaningless.
(charing ang drama koh!)
love and light to ye!
i like his last statement...paranormal in science becomes normal
it actually makes sense...stimulation ng electromagnetic energy
the brain in itself doesnt conduct any stimulation, rather only processes it
at lalakbay neuron to neuron via axonal transmission
like the aura of a person, ghosts, portals, vortices, and the list goes on
even sa paranormal investigations, ginagamit ang EMF...eletromagnetic frequency readers
to detect paranormal activity...so its safe to say that possible source ng electromagnetic stimulation
ay ung mga energy forms and the experiment proves to show that humans
have the capability to detect it!
tnx for sharing this interesting video Keldricus!
So di mo talaga naririnig na me mga yogi noon, before Siddarta became Buddha who would beat their bodies and inflict pain to reach trance and enlightenment? you should read more, hehe.
I have friends na maraming tattoos i asked them how they were able to endure the pain brought by the needles. most of them would say na they just withdraw their senses from the pain and concnetrate on something else and then at some point ma relax na ung brain nila and then although they can sense the pain, pero ung utak nila is someplace else duplicating a trance-like state.
Well i ask you because You are tryinmg to disqualify a theory done by people who are expert on this field. These people have degress. In Sceince you have to give a better theory supported by factual data, Now if you cant produce one then your criticism against this people is null and avoid, in other words your own version cant be trusted and lacks professional point of view.
oh you dont respect people w/ degrees and your examples are degrees taken from online school. Well, its still a degree. But focus, the men who are doing this research are not of this kind.LOLZ
Well you can give your amatuer point of view just like mine but it is in no way credible and factual. But to discredit their expert findings (produce by proper experiments, guided by excperienced scientist) is layo ra kaau sa tinood.
