bro for your vcard buy a 6800gt/ultra kay ma softmod na to a quadro equivalent. and you can have it boot 2 ways, quadro modhen you're working in max and non-quadro kung mag games ka. very handy. daghan pud links unsaon pag softmod sa 6800gt/ultra. check out my thread diri istorya or search sa forum sa www.cgtalk.com. i wish 3dpinoy would be up soon.

First you need to check if your software applications are compatible with the 64Bit Platform. Thats very important to achieve better boost on System Performance. Like if its compatible with WinOS 64 plus 64Bit System..

I suggest you get a couple of AMD Athlon 64, plus go for a motherboard with SLI.. its better than nForce4..
At least 3GB Ram and a high-end Video card will.. and a decent monitor...

as far as what i've read sa cgtalk. wala pa man 64-bit ang max so dili cya maka capitalize sa 64-bit nga environment. when it comes to rendering pud kay max doesnt use up all the ram, some of it kay kuhaon niya sa virtual ram. windows os limits it to 1.5gig ram (not sure if its 1.5 or 1.75) in rendering but you can fool max daw if you use the 3G switch allowing you to utilize the remaining ram.

i called a computer shop, wala pa daw x2, nya ang available na athlon 64 kay 3000 ra kutob. then sa pentium d 2.8 ra pud. gusto ta mi mupalit taas na gamay daan para dugay dugay pa sunod upgrade.

also, ang amd na processor ang memory kaya ddr400 ra? dili sya pwede ddr2?

so useless pud d i if 4gig ako memory kay dili man kaha madetect sa windows or gilimit sa windows?

gamit gihapon ang 4gig bai kung mag render ka in 3d kay you will use that in ram preview. the bigger the ram the more frames you can preview in real time.. I'm assuming you do render your animations in frames and not straight to an avi or mov file. gamit pud na siya real time preview sa adobe after effects. bai with your 80K budget would rather buy 2 systems that are worth 40K (pyter na ni pang 3d ug video edit) and buy a kvm (Keyboard Video Mouse) switch. all you need is 1 monitor 1 keyboard and 1 mouse to control the 2 cpus. my point of buying 2 cpus is that the 2nd one can have all the memory upgrades and be a dedicated renderer while you work with your first cpu with the faster vcard. mao sad ni ako plano nga system right now kay efficient kaayo imo work kay all you need is to press the button sa kvm switch and your switching between 2 systems. barato raman pud mga kvm switches i think its around 3T. pero drawback sa mga kvm switches diri kay kasagaran for 1 monitor ra, wala pa ko ka kita ug ga display ug para dual monitor nga kvm switch. anyways suggestion ra ni nako so if you really like to spend 80K on one very powerful pc then its your choice. this could be an alternative in your future upgrade.

dili nako i-overclock... im just a standard user lang bai... no techy stuffs for me..yet.

mao ra na impt... paki check if ok na ba siya na setup...

NOT Necessary.. we have ran ATI Radeon 9800xt on an nforce2 based mobo before... works fine
