    If you actually read what he posted then you would have a solid idea on what motherboard to look for, unless you want a spoon fed information.. go over to Asus,Gigabyte & Abit for motherboard references, they indicate there w/c motherboard supports what in SLI/CF and how many PCIe lanes it has when using dual card mode.

    and goodluck in your expensive set up, its either 2x 9800GX2 or 2x 3870X2

    this setup is not for me,,, yep, ive seen some mobo offers 8x/8x bandwidth but most of them are pcie v1.0 compliant for SLI mode while 16x/16x in crossfire. well, exept for the new ones.
