It is abusive, opportunistic, and downright pathetic.
If it is any consolation, getting employed in any of these call centers is quite tough. One of their primary requirements would have to be a graduate (or at least a senior or graduating student) of a reputable school. Some would even be specific about this, naming UP, Ateneo and La Salle as their melting pots. Hiring such employees also gave their company a reputation of being highly coveted. Puzzling because come to think of it, the nature of the work doesn’t really need much thinking. The training done right after hiring can give sufficient knowledge about the work. These fresh grads, however (who seem to be jaded about the reality of the working world), could only care less about taking on this as a first job out of school.
But above all the side effects I can mention, it is still a financially satisfying job for me and I'm contented...![]()
If by chance you'll be hired to any of the call centers, one of the saddest side effect is you not having enough life, especially if you'll be assinged on a graveyard schedule![]()

well when you work in a call center, ihalas na ka ug disco lights kay wala na kay laag laag, ang imo ra gyung kuyog permi kape, maski naa ka sa house sige na pangita ug kape, well lami ang kape sa off road as in, mag crave gyud ka.
