ask lng ko... ky i'm more on comparing ideas within myself first, but kani lng gyud lisod lisod gyud pag decide, i mean basin tinood gyud diay nga God si Jesus and the only Son of God that's God siya nga nagpakatawo, and that he would come back again to judge the living and the dead, we'll just wait for it so that we will be saved.

and then sa opposite, ky Jesus is not God, he was sent by God, whom he call his Father, and to fulfill God's command that we should remember our Father who is God, and that all of us are His sons and daughters, so that by the time we remember, we will do our best to go back to Him, meaning we will remember that we are souls not our bodies, and in that way we will work our way to go back home to God

ask lng ko: if you are in favor sa isa, have you tried thinking the opposite, and kung sa 2nd ka, have you tried thinking the first

i will request if you can do this: can you empty your minds from your current belief and if possible all the thoughts in your mind, then after few minutes, try to think the opposite again and again, then just don't post your answer here

i mean, after having this thread, just yesterday, i found some revelations, and i will not just post it, bec anyways, it is not acceptable to all, plus revelation is something personal, what is revealed to you, is not applicable to others because it is understood only by personal experience and not from anybody

i hated the church,religious people,i used to think all people who associate themselves with God are hypocrites...
i've always believed there is a God though but because i hated the church...it came to a point nga
i almost trashed the idea of a Savior and God as well...oh well...

guys, there is no need to argue here... each one has his own belief, so wa ra gihapon padulngan kung pugson ninyo ang usag usa, mga suko lng mo. let's try to have an open mind here, try to accept the explanation, compare it with what you have... kung sa istorya pa, ang nagpalagot ug ang naglagot pildi na daan. And Hatred is not of God, instead Love, tanan nga negative, di na sa God, if you have with you envy, lust, hate, panikas, pamalikas, panglibak, di na sa Ginoo

Just be a good person. I just live by that. No matter unsa imu religion or kinsa imu ginatuuhan nga ginoo, one rule ra jud ma apply sa tanan- just be good.

this is said to be part of the teachings of Jesus as i copied from the web site: that we are not our bodies, we are the one inside, what say you?


Jesus confirms this when he said:

"The kingdom of God does not come with your careful observation nor will people say, 'Here it is,' or 'There it is,' because the kingdom of God is within you." (Luke 17:20-21)

So what does "within you" mean? It means we are not these physical bodies, we are dwelling within them. These physical bodies are temporary, virtual machines we utilize for a few years. They are virtual identities. They are also constantly changing, while the self within, "I" is spiritual. This is the person "within" - our spiritual selves.

We might compare our situation to getting into an automobile. The automobile is not us. We are sitting within the car and we drive it for awhile and then get out. In the same way, we, the spiritual person, leaves the physical body when it dies.

What John the Baptist, Jesus and Jesus' disciples were trying to teach was that we can reach God's world - the spiritual realm - by looking within to our spiritual nature.

Should we apply this to our automobile analogy, if a driver took her car into a mechanic complaining that she was hungry, the mechanic would tell her this has nothing to do with the car.
