If we keep on blaming the government and still doing what we do now, that is being undisciplined, ignorant and selfish citizens, i doubt if there will be no change.
Very easy to say that it's better to live outside the country to get out of the misery that we have now. But what if each of us will be honest, righteous and God-fearing enough to be challenged with what is now happening in the country, munindot man ta ba!
Bitaw, i am tired to listening and most of the times, myself complaining unto what is happening now.

just wanna share my opinion,
actually mas ganahan pako mo puyo nganhi sa nyc kaysa sa cebu. bag-o rako ni balhin nganhi, one year pa. and so far, it's so much better than cebu. convenient kaayo halos tanan nimo transactions (government, shopping, utilities) pwede ra on line. ang transportation, efficient kaayo tungod sa subway trains. you don't need a car para maka adto ka bisag asa sa nyc, then walay traffic og pwede raka mag basa2x or matulog sa train. sa cebu pako I spent 30% of my income sa gas whereas ganhi, 1% ra sa income ang monthly unlimited ride. kung mag lakaw2x ko sa streets sa manhattan, di ko makuyawan bisag ako ra isa nya kadlawon kay walay manghilabot. where as sa cebu, mo reply rako og text mahadlok nako kay basin naa snatcher. paspas sad kaayo mohilok ang mga pulis nganhi og respetado kaayo. kung naay mangholdup, dakpan dayon a day after. that's why nyc is one of the safest big cities. then daghan kaayo kalingawan nganhi, dili ka mahutdan. unlike sa cebu nga limited ra kaayo balik balik lang ka adto sa ayala, sm, btc, paseo, it park, crossroads. ngari pirte dahana bars, night clubs, parks, museums, theaters, broadway shows, etc. then ok pa gyud kaayo ang government. pas pas ang service, walay hasol. then ang corruption neglible ra. example, i kompare nako ang IRS vs BIR, hastang layo a ra gyud. pag file nako og tax return, gi hatagan ko og refund $3,000 a week later. Then sometime last may gihatagan mi og rebate check from the gov’t for $600 to offset gamay sa rising fuel cost. Then ang standard of living ngari in terms of income is so much better. Naka palit ko high end laptop sa usa ra ka kinsenas. Almost everyday, mangaon mi sa officemates sa bisag asa nga restaurant for lunch. If I compare sa cebu, It’s like having lunch every day at café laguna, krua thai, bigbys, etc. Then almost everyweek, tan aw mi movie og mag shopping, convenient pa gyud kay everything is on a swipe card. You don’t need to bring cash. I go to starbucks (to study) or sa gym every other day. And yet, despite sa tanan nako gasto (being a single young male) I still save $2,500 a month although my salary is just average or even lower. When I was in cebu for the same job, tiguman pa nako kung mo palit ko og nike shoes. Then wala gyud savings. As in “nil”.
Ang ako lang mingawan sa cebu kay ang maid who’s willing to do everything for you. But I felt good man sad nga wala maid or cheap labor ngari kay I learned to be independent and I became confident bisag asa pako lugar mo adto. Para sa ako lang ha, I prefer to live here for good. I’m just lucky that my gf is with me and my family is just in another US state.
