I don't know where you get the idea on the election of popes. I suggest you visit catholic websites so you will be enriched with the True Catholic teaching.

If you're a devout Catholic, then you should accept the Church's official teaching. Dili pwede pick and choose ra ka.

Naa ko'y nailhan daghan Katoliko nga, dili motoo ug kompisal kay makasasala ang pari, maypa direct to God nalang. Pwede ra mokalawat bahala wala'y Kompisal.
But sa teaching sa Church, one should receive the sacrament of penance if one commited mortal sins. And one cannot receive the sacrament of communion if one is not in the state of grace.

So if mo-ingon ka nga Catholic ka, pero dili ka mo-too sa ubang teaching sa Church, then wala jud ka magpraktis sa imong pagka-Katoliko.
